Note: Health Paper Requirements and Valid Forms of ID
Tags MUST have an official USDA shield.
Every show requires a Certificate of Veterinary Inspection (CVI) with every animal shown. All CVIs must be written within 7 days of each show. The CVI of out of state swine must indicate a negative pseudorabies test within 30 days of the show. The ENTIRE tag number (every number and letter) must be listed on the CVI, along with the ear notch, animal description, age, and sex, as well the address of each show. Please communicate these requirements with your local veterinarian to ensure you are following these regulations.

NEW for 2021:
A licensed veterinarian will be verifying health papers at every show. This veterinarian has the right to deny your ability to show if your health paper does not meet these requirements or charge a fee to inspect your animals and administer a new health paper. Again, please communicate with your local veterinarian to ensure all of the information is filled out correctly.
Lastly, please enter in the ENTIRE tag number into ShowTech when you register your animal. We utilize this information to submit to the final report of every animal shown to the state veterinarians office following completion of every show.
