New for 2017 - Premier Exhibitor Contest!
We are excited to announce at this year’s Grand Finale we will be awarding a Premier Exhibitor Award for each of the four age divisions. This will be based on each exhibitors’ performance at the Grand Finale in the show and contests. One winner per age division will receive a $200 award to be used towards attending an agriculture leadership or development event of their choosing. Points will be accumulated in the following contests:
	1. Showmanship (1st - 50 points, 2nd - 45 points, etc.) 2. Grand Finale Swine Show (Points earned in class by highest scoring pig in live show - no additional points for breed or overall champion) 3. Skillathon (1st - 50 points, 2nd - 45 points, etc.) 4. Photography Contest - Click here for more info (1st - 50 points, 2nd - 45 points, etc.) 5. Ag Advocacy / Speech Contest - Click here for more info (Seniors, Intermediates & Juniors) (1st - 50 points, 2nd - 45 points, etc.) 6. Interview (Seniors & Intermediates) (1st - 50 points, 2nd - 45 points, etc.)
Winners can choose an event they wish to attend over the next 12 months. Upon approval they will receive the $200 to use towards that event. Some examples of ag leadership or development events the exhibitor may attend include, but are not limited to the following:
	1. NJSA LEAD Conference 2. NJSA National Youth Leadership Conference 3. Iowa 4H Youth Conference 4. 4H Leadership Washington Focus 5. 4H Youth Regional Camp 6. ISU Livestock Judging Camp 7. Iowa 4H Animal Science Roundup
Exhibitors who wish to participate should sign up at check-in at the Grand Finale. Points will be accumulated in each of the listed contests so if you want to participate we encourage you sign up and compete in each of the events. This contest is brought to us through the generosity of Shari Bakker who contributed her funds from the Farm Mom of the Year contest to sponsor this event.
